Main Purpose of the Role:

To manage allocated customer accounts proactively to ensure payments are received when due and to follow up queries in a timely manner, whilst adhering to the service level procedures. This role is 30 hours per week.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

To adhere to all procedures to ensure best practice.

Manage own ledger of customers, running aged debt reports weekly and chasing customers by telephone where required.

Send follow up chase letters when required - putting customers accounts on stop if required.

Sending out copy invoices.

Pre allocation of remits done daily to ensure that cash posting is accurate.

Taking card payments over the phone.

Ensure that any queries are passed on to the customer services department in a timely manner.

Liaise with sales managers when assistance is required with any major accounts.

Distribute monthly statements in a timely manner.

Provide holiday cover for held orders and cash posting, when required

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of sales ledger working

Good communication skills - both verbal and written.

Must be a team player

Flexibility with working hours to cover annual leave.

Computer Literate
