Job Description

Join an esteemed transport company, a market leader with over 40 years of excellence in the industry. They are renowned for their robust network and exceptional service standards in the transport sector. They seek an experienced Credit Controller to enhance their finance team. This part-time, fully remote role requires a commitment of three days per week, with the flexibility to spread the hours over five days. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a portfolio of 250 active accounts using SAGE software.
• Ensure timely and compelling collection of all debts and customer payments.
• Efficiently resolve any billing disputes and reconcile account discrepancies.
• Prepare, verify, and process invoices and coding payment documents.
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity.
• Regularly make collection calls and emails to ensure all debts are paid on time.
• Report to management on outstanding issues while highlighting potential debtor problems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller.
• Proficiency in SAGE.
• Strong understanding of credit control procedures and principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Multi-currency experience, particularly with the EURO, is a significant plus.
