Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently working with a global business within professional services who are looking for a Credit Controller to join them on a part time basis in North Bristol. Key responsibilities:

• Be accountable and take ownership for allocated ledger and be pro-active in managing the collections and resolution of debt and individual queries
• Develop Client relationships to improve collections
• Build strong relationships with internal Customers and arrange regular debt reviews, either via phone or in person, to ensure all debt is chased in a timely manner and support process and recommend improvements to enhance portfolio debt recovery
• Monthly Cash Forecasting
• Setting up new clients
• Resolving unallocated cash queries
• Producing Monthly Client statements
• Sending 7 days letters
• Escalation of problem accounts and legal matters to Credit Control Manager
• Chasing debts by telephone
• Adhoc tasks as required by Manager

Person specification

• Minimum of 12 months experience in a credit control role
• IT literate
• Passion for credit control and results driven
• Excellent communication skills & ability to build relationships
• Confident telephone manner
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to multi- task are essential
• Good team spirit and sense of humour
• Happy to work on own initiative, as you are following direction
