Credit Controller

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a family owned business within the Fuel distribution sector. The business has seen significant growth in recent years and is continuing to expand.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to report directly into the Credit Manager based in Otley.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments. Chase outstanding invoices via phone, email, and letters within agreed timescales. Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and ensure notes are up to date. Deal with customer queries efficiently and ensure issues are resolved to avoid payment delays. Assess credit data and financial statements to determine credit limits. Work closely with the sales team to resolve disputes and reduce credit risk. Ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures.
The role requires someone who is self motivated, and able to work under pressure, to deadlines, within a fast paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable with Microsoft Office and accounting systems, and have excellent communication skills and a can do attitude.
Experience within Credit Control is essential.
