As a Credit Controller Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Care Sante Group. This role requires manipulation of a high volume data sets, you will need to be able to work in a fast passed environment, whilst being precise and accurate with information. You will be responsible to process and complete credit control for multiple areas within the Care Sante group in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Work alongside the Finance team:
Focus on cash collection and on effective reporting to Senior Management
Work as a key member of the central finance team, be active in understanding business requirements and contribute to the development of financial systems and processes
Manage a team of 1 or 2 credit control assistants
Be highly engaged in the cash collection process:
Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
Efficiently handle and process payment requests
Deal with public and private clients and manage the reconciliation and settlement of balances
Responding to relevant client enquiries
Work closely with local branch teams to ensure there is an efficient flow of information to carry out the above duties - lead regular meetings with them to ensure cash collection
Reporting:
Assist CC Assistants in maintaining records and receipts for all daily transactions (cash postings)
Help producing weekly credit control reports
Ensure financial records are kept up to date with the latest transactions and changes for credit control
Contribute to the reporting of financial KPI's, including the cash flow forecast and aged debt summary
Working from the office would be required 3 days per week (Nottingham City Centre)
Travel occasionally to branch sites if necessary
Person Specifications:
Essential
High school diploma or equivalent
Min 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
Experienced working in a credit control or debt collection environment
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Desire to grow and develop alongside a SME
Proactive, positive and forward-thinking attitude
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
Eligible to work in the UK
Desirable
Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
Prior experience in fields below will be advantageous:
working in the care industry
working with public clients (local authorities, councils)
Knowledge in SAGE 50
