Job Description

A BIT ABOUT FLOCK

At Flock we do insurance very differently.

Our real-time, data-driven approach means we're able to price connected vehicle insurance and assess risk better than ever before, whilst giving fleet owners the insights they need to improve safety. We don't just pay claims; we help our customers prevent them. We now insure hundreds of fleets in the UK, including the likes of JLR and Amazon, as well as fleets that work for DPD, Uber and Bolt.

We've now raised over 50M and our goal is to become the leading insurance company for connected and autonomous vehicles, and we're building a world-class team to help us get there.

THE ROLE

You will develop and manage credit control to help us build a first class credit control function at Flock in order to lay the foundations for our future growth.

WHAT WE THINK IS MOST EXCITING ABOUT THE ROLE:

Flock is on an ambitious growth trajectory - this is an opportunity for you to contribute to this from day 1 and leave a lasting legacy in terms of strong, effective credit control processes. This is a start-up environment where the route from idea to execution is extremely short. It will be highly stimulating and you will get the satisfaction of seeing your approach brought to life rapidly.

A LITTLE MORE ON WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

You will be taking full control of our credit control and billing processes from Day 1, with support from 2-3 other colleagues, ensuring we stay on top of upcoming payments and rigorously manage any issues through to resolution. You will be delighting our insurance carrier partners by securing cash in line with their payment deadlines whilst proactively keeping them abreast of status and issues. You will be doing this through a combination of strong process design and adherence, effective relationship management of our broker partners and a strong, pragmatic problem-solving ethos. You will bring your extensive experience to bear from Day 1 and seek to improve our processes and approach where necessary.
