Job Description
Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business based in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit a Credit Controller on a temporary basis to assist in clearing up some backlog within the credit control team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing Bank Reconciliations
- Generation of Invoices
- Control of the Cashbook side of the business
- All areas of credit control for the business with support from the Company Accountant
- Ensure funds are available for payments to be made
- Post all cashbook transaction
- Understand and implement Nominal journals received from the Company Accountant
- Collate and present monthly Credit Control position to Company Accountant
- Ad-hoc analysis that drives and supports improvements in company profitability through analysis of strategic and commercial opportunities
- Generation of Statements
- Generation of Debt Chasing letters both physical and electronic
- Manage Petty Cash + input appropriate journals on reconciliation
- Strong in Maths and English
- Ability to clearly communicate complex issues to non-financial team members
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
