Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Assistant to provide support to the Credit control team to ensure the smooth running of the credit control process by reducing debtor days, supporting internal clients on financial related matters and helping to improve the cash flow position of RWK Goodman.

We will consider part time candidates for this role as well as full time.

Duties will include:

• Ensure clients are chased on a daily basis in accordance with our payment terms
• Liaise with fee earners across the Firm to ensure you have the correct files and information for chasing/reminding external clients
• Produce statements of accounts to external clients and respond to any requests
• Regular correspondence with clients to recover outstanding invoices
• Responding to client enquires relating to their invoices
• Providing administrative support to the team
• Any other duties as requested by the Senior Credit Control Manager or Credit Control Supervisor

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths & English
• Previous experience in a customer facing role (face to face or over the phone)
• Previous experience within a credit control or debt recovery role
• Basic understanding of credit control process
• Client focused \xe2\x80\x93 considering internal & external clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs at all times
• Ability to deal with clients over the phone with confidence
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Extremely well organised with the ability to work to regular deadlines
• Problem solving \xe2\x80\x93 dealing with day to day issues and resolving appropriately
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Database packages
• Analytical & methodical approach to problem solving
• Ability to work with tact, discretion and confidentiality with clients & third parties
