Department purpose





Our business development, marketing and communication teams contribute to the setting and achievement of the firm's business objectives, which includes supporting our partners and associates in their pursuit of becoming our clients' trusted advisers, building and maintaining long-lasting client relationships, winning new clients, increasing the visibility of the firm globally, and positioning the firm as the thought leader and most advanced law firm among the global elite. The function works as one team across the globe with very close collaboration between the central groups and professionals supporting offices, practice groups, sectors and clients.



Role purpose





Creative services is the firm's in-house design studio, where ideas come to life, stories captivate, and intuitive design empowers our brand. We are a multi-service design team for all things creative, covering a wide range of digital and print media - offering everything from document design, event collateral and digital content, to presentations and audiovisuals. The creative project expert role will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing key projects across the team and wider function in conjunction with the design manager.

Role and responsibilities

Reporting to the marketing services manager and accountable to the Head of marketing services, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Planning and leading projects, working with senior stakeholders and different teams across the business, ensuring successful project delivery. Acting as a trusted adviser and key contact for clients, providing a consultative service, establishing clear lines of communication and building strong client relationships, gaining credibility throughout the firm. Working in collaboration with the marketing services manager and design manager to ensure the design team produces a consistently high standard of work, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to the service. Working in collaboration with the marketing services manager to develop and test new initiatives that could enhance the project lifecycle within the studio. Creating timely, accurate project plans for internal reference and providing regular project status reports to senior management, stakeholders and the design team. Coordinating, scheduling of meetings; taking notes and distributing; follow up on actions. Flexibility in supporting the creative team on a wide variety of administrative duties. Flexibility with regards to working hours. It may be a requirement to work in different locations for projects, presentations, and meetings or other duties as required.


Key requirements

This role is an important part of the design team and suitable applicants will need to demonstrate the following: Recent experience in managing creative projects in an agency or an in-house creative environment. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects with proven experience in developing, executing, and completing projects to achieve objectives. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across all levels. A strong organisational approach to project management [project management qualification would be beneficial]. Ability to identify potential sources of risk and their impact on project success. Experience in branding and application of brand guidelines. Knowledge of video briefing and production planning would be advantageous.
