We are currently looking for a Creative Arts Recovery Events Worker. This a new and exciting opportunity for someone to develop our creative social activity programme. You will take a lead in organising, promoting, and facilitating fun recovery focused activities like art groups run by both CGL and external organisations.

You will be responding to the needs of our service, looking at what new activities we could develop, that would strengthen and enhance the opportunities on offer to the people that access our service.

Responsibilities

Where: Wisbech

When: We are looking to get the right person into the team ASAP

Hours: 10 hours per week

Salary: \xc2\xa316 per hour

About the role:

• Create a safe space for our service users to connect and have fun
• Organise and prepare activities and events for our service users
• Host live events/activities in person or virtually using platforms such as Zoom
• Work with those who access our service, staff and the community to develop new activities / events

About you:

• Ability to work with professional boundaries
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent time management skills, and an ability to work on own initiative prioritising accordingly
• Ability to liaise and work in partnership with a wide range of professionals and agencies
