About you
As our Cook, you will have lots of stamina, patience, creativity?and imagination with?an abundance?of great ideas to enhance?mealtimes.??The key responsibilities of the role include the?planning, preparation and serving of age appropriate,?nutritious?and?well-balanced?meals and snacks catering for the children's individual?dietary?requirements?and food allergies. You will be responsible for the ordering, control, storage and rotation of kitchen stock and ensuring that you and Kitchen Assistants?ensure hygiene and?cleanliness?within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with?Environmental?Health?requirements?and legislation.?A minimum NVQ Level 2 in food hygiene is an essential requirement along with?excellent knowledge of current legislations in Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency
