Job Description

We are seeking candidates who are experienced cover supervisors and have worked within secondary schools in the UK. We are happy to accept applicants who have experience working with children within a UK based setting such as a Sports Coach, Youth Worker, Residential Children\xe2\x80\x99s worker, or other child based roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising classes and maintaining an orderly classroom environment when teachers are absent.
• Assisting students with their work and answering basic questions
• Following lesson plans provided by teachers.
• Managing student behaviour using approved techniques
• Ensuring school policies and rules are followed.

Requirements

• Experience working with secondary school-aged students.
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to build rapport with young people
• Ability to follow lesson plans and teachers\xe2\x80\x99 instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of school policies and safeguarding procedures
• Flexibility to cover various subjects and classroom environments.
• Degree or experience in education preferred but not required.
