Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents, ensuring that all items are transported safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to navigate various routes, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Duties

Collect and deliver packages, documents, and other items as required. Operate a van or other delivery vehicle in a safe and responsible manner. Communicate effectively with clients to confirm delivery details and address any concerns. Perform heavy lifting as necessary when handling packages. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including sorting and organising items for dispatch. Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record 6 points max. Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Ability to pass a criminal background check Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with package handling. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is advantageous. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service.
