Savills Country Department is looking to appoint a North Home Counties focused Country House Sales Agent.This is a superb opportunity for an experienced sales person with a passion for the North Home Counties and knowledge of the area or connections to it, to join a dynamic, high-performing and established Country team.The successful candidate will advise clients on the marketing and sale of country houses over xc2xa32 million, working collaboratively with our local prime agents in Harpenden, Rickmansworth, Beaconsfield, Amersham, Henley, Marlow and Summertown and with Savills London offices, Savills Private Office and Farms & Estates team where appropriate.We are looking for someone with the desire and ability to build strong client relationships, combined with the energy and ambition to help drive our prime sales business in the North Home Counties forward.Savills Country Department is a centre of excellence for prime country house sales with a clear goal and strategy for retaining Savills market leading position for prime sales across the UK. Each director within the department benefits from a level of independence commensurate with the seniority of the position alongside an exceptional level of support from the wider Savills teams and network.Responsibilities:

  • Generate and carry out market appraisals of prime country houses (xc2xa32 million+)
  • Help to set and deliver Savills prime country North Home Counties business plan, liaising with local office heads and head of region, in accordance with the wider Country Department business plan.
  • Advise clients on marketing and sale strategies
  • Secure sales instructions, gaining marketing share, on good terms and at appropriate values
  • Oversee, curate and deliver marketing material and advertising/ PR/social media programmes for properties
  • Qualify buyers' requirements, share details of buyers with wider Savills network, organise and conduct viewings
  • Sale negotiation
  • Provide outstanding, end to end service for clients throughout their sale and moving process
  • Build relationships with a network of prospective clients and create a customer journey with support of Savills CRM system
  • Ensure diligent cost management, in accordance with the department's business plan
  • Participate and help orchestrate local events
  • Be an ambassador for Savills in the North Home Counties by building a strong professional profile in the area and helping us grow our profile in the region
  • Adhere to Savills compliance procedure
  • Provide business opportunities for the wider Savills network through referrals
  • Establish good relationships with buying agents who cover the North Home Counties
  • Collate and draw conclusions from North Home Counties market share data in order to effect growth.
  • Attend key internal and external London events and generate business opportunities from them
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Savills network of offices in London and the North Home Counties
  • Attend Savills Country Department weekly and monthly team meetings in London
  • Participate in daily call outs, whether in London or in a local office within the North Home Counties
  • Be a confident public speaker - you may occasionally be a required for you to do this
  • Adherence to Savills company policies, Health and Safety protocol and compliance procedures.
Key skills
  • At least 5 years' experience in residential sales (preferably prime market) or equivalent sales/client facing experience in another sector
  • Knowledge of the North Home Counties is preferable
  • Ability to work with own initiative and as part of a team
  • Confident and engaging personality with a proven track record of building strong client relationships
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to spot opportunities for business development
  • Ability to spend one day a week in London and the remainder in the north Home Counties
  • Full UK Driving Licence
