Working Hours: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, 8:00 AM \xe2\x80\x93 5:00 PM (Early finish on Fridays) : As a Counterbalance Driver/Goods In Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods in. Your responsibilities will include accurately recording all incoming goods in our in-house system and safely unloading goods from lorries using a counterbalance forklift. This role is a long-term temporary to permanent opportunity, providing stability and growth potential for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to unload goods from incoming lorries.
- Accurately record all goods received into our in-house system.
- Verify and inspect goods to ensure quality and quantity match the delivery documentation.
- Assist with the organization and storage of goods in the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized goods in area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
- Previous experience in a similar goods in/warehouse role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Reliability and punctuality.
