We are looking to expand our small team at Websters and we are looking for a full time Sales Counter Assistant for our Milnathort depot. This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday 7.30 am till 5 pm with alternate Saturday mornings 07:30 - Midday.
Building Materials knowledge preferable, but not essential as training will be provided.
Counter Assistant
Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or questions
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively
- Basic math skills for processing payments and making change
- Ability to upsell and sell additional products or services
- Organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and order at the counter
