We are currently working with a leading UK law firm based in Birmingham, who are recruiting for a Costs Lawyer to join their growing department.

The successful Costs Lawyer will have at least 5 years\' experience in costs litigation. Ideally the candidate will have previous experience in both Defendant and Claimant work to include advocacy, drafting costs budgets, bills of costs, Points of Dispute, Replies, negotiating settlements, drafting Schedules of Costs and handling high value matters in both personal injury and commercial litigation. You will be joining the costs and advocacy team. Managing your own caseload is essential.

You must have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks. Some other tasks will include:

• Drafting costs budgets, bills of costs and points of disputes
• Assessing bills of costs and negotiating settlements
• Drafting Replies and schedules of costs

This role is a full-time position with flexible working form the Birmingham office.
