We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone to manage and grow a defined portfolio of customers within Lombard\'s Technology Specialist Sales team to support our business growth ambitions
We\xe2\x80\x99ll look to you to build effective relationships with our corporate customers, delivering the right solutions to meet their financial needs
This is a role you can really make your own, allowing excellent exposure for you and your work as you build lasting and meaningful relationships with our customers
What you\'ll do
With a customer centric focus, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be providing specialist technology-focused Asset Finance products and services that are appropriate to each individual customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs. You\xe2\x80\x99ll design and implement an effective business strategy to maximise business opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction and advocacy. We\xe2\x80\x99ll also look to you to deliver sales activity to maximise new business and develop a new customer base alongside an existing one.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be:
Preparing well researched and comprehensive briefs and pitch books for customers and prospect meetings
Assisting senior managers in analysing customers\xe2\x80\x99 financial information, and negotiating and executing legal documentation
Making sure that transactions are closed in a timely manner and in line with the customers\xe2\x80\x99 expectations
Collaborating with customers and colleagues to build trust and long-term sustainable value
Contributing to the delivery of business goals on a regular, timely and consistent basis
The skills you\'ll need
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone with a track record of delivering high quality transactions and building outstanding customer and professional relationships, ideally in a corporate environment. Along with this, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have the ability to undertake detailed financial analysis, including debt capacity analysis, financial modelling and valuation for both existing and prospective customers.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll need to have a diploma in Lending Skills or be willing to complete one within 12 months of starting.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be expected to have:
A strong understanding of the UK technology market and how Asset Finance plays a key role in both user and supplier business models
Strong depth of knowledge of Asset Finance products, including RV based leasing structures
Familiarity with evolving market trends such as \xe2\x80\x98Device as a Service\xe2\x80\x99, on-demand models and Circular Economy principles
An awareness of financing and risk management trends in order to provide intuitive solutions to benefit customers
An ability to undertake detailed risk analysis and complex debt structuring
A broad understanding of the deal execution process
Strong market awareness and an appreciation of the economic and financial outlook
