Job Summary
To develop and implement corporate communications and public affairs to enhance the corporate reputation of the Council to its diverse stakeholders, through the effective delivery of corporate communications to include internal and external communications, reputation management and public affairs using a multi-channel platform approach. Be an effective member of the Digital and Communications team, assisting in the development and implementation of the Council\xe2\x80\x99s corporate communications strategy, including corporate digital communications, to communicate positive messages about the corporate vision, priorities and projects. To advise, guide and work closely with the Chief Executive\xe2\x80\x99s Office (Council Chairperson, Chief Executive and Democratic Services) on the formation, development and implementation of communications and marketing relating to the Council\xe2\x80\x99s civic and community leadership role, developing and delivering corporate communications, to include signature corporate events which will recognise the wider public and stakeholder engagement with the Council which impact on the quality of life of residents of the district.
Hours of Work
37 hours per week.
The post holder must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant.
Salary
PO4 - Salary SCP 37-40, currently \xc2\xa343,516 - \xc2\xa346,549 per annum based on a 37 hour week
