WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A Copyright & Royalties Assistant to join Audio Network\xe2\x80\x99s Publishing and Data teams in our London office in Farringdon on a temporary 6-month basis (off-payroll).

The Publishing Team manages royalty income globally. The team\xe2\x80\x99s responsibilities include creating synchronisation licenses, registering works, maintaining relationships with PROs (Performing Rights Organisations), analysing and forecasting royalty income, and ensuring accurate collections.

Working with the Copyright Manager, you will support the end-to-end copyright and royalty payment processes through registering and maintaining music data, to assisting with royalty payments to our composers and clients.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to take on a challenging, varied role, working closely with team members across our global business.

This is a full-time, 6-month engagement, based in our office in Hatton Garden, London, on a hybrid working pattern.

THE ROLE

Copyright

• Supporting database administration, loading new music works, and updating existing entries with additional data, ensuring all works are correctly populated and CWR-compliant
• Processing and tracking incoming ACK files and supporting with CWR work registration
• Assisting with copyright audits of the Audio Network and partner catalogues across PRO databases
• Supporting the territorial expansion of the publishing administration network, onboarding Audio Network\xe2\x80\x99s administration clients with new PRO affiliations
• Supporting new administration client onboarding

Royalties

• Loading royalty statements into our Music Maestro database on a monthly basis, matching royalty lines to our repertoire, and reconciling incoming data to cash receipts
• Supporting royalty audits, and assisting with the analysis of incoming statements

Analysis

• Contribute to post-distribution reports for administration clients, assisting with the analysis of outgoing statements
• Supporting our Royalty Tracking team to identify missing cue sheets for Audio Network\xe2\x80\x99s audio-visual administration clients

YOUR SPECIAL SKILLS

• Strong Excel skills, confident in using formulas and pivot tables (essential)
• High level of accuracy, and attention to detail (essential)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels across the business (essential)
• A broad understanding of, or experience in, the music industry (desirable)

COMPENSATION

• Salary: \xc2\xa323,000 to \xc2\xa328,000 (dependent on experience) pro rata for 6 months
• Hybrid working \xe2\x80\x93 2 mandatory days in the office \xe2\x80\x93 Tuesdays and Thursdays
