Job Description

Cook/ Kitchen assistant required to work within a team in a fast paced busy kitchen, plating and preparing food with chefs guidance. Would suit person with canteen / cafe background. Experience advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. Progression and development available if desired, to the right candidate. Would suit person with passion for creating good wholesome home cooked dishes with a canteen, cafe or kitchen background. Straight shifts, with consecutive days off. Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a kitchen environment Strong knowledge of food safety practices Ability to assist in meal preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred Familiarity with culinary techniques and kitchen equipment Excellent teamwork and communication skills
