Job Summary

We are seeking a full time or several part time, talented and passionate Chef/s to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, with the ability to create delicious dishes that delight our guests. As a Chef/cook, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen while ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development. Ensure all food preparation is conducted in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Supervise the kitchen to ensure efficient operation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations at all times. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.

Skills

Proven experience as a Chef or cook or in a similar role within a hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A creative flair for cooking and presenting dishes that are visually appealing. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members. A passion and desire for excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.50-15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
