We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Cook you will be responsible for providing delicious meals and managing kitchen operations.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications.
Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
Maintain a well-organised kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned to the highest standard.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent culinary skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation..
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
