Cook
who is truly passionate about food and ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents in
Carryduff Nursing Home
are met.
Working as part of our fantastic multi-disciplinary team, your main roles will be to prepare meals for our residents specific to their dietary requirements and tastes, baking, menu planning, food ordering and stock control.
Carryduff Nursing Home is a 21 bedded home specialising in frail elderly care

What we need from you
Essential:
A desire to learn and a willingness to develop skills both on the job and with training
An interest in food and the nutritional needs of the elderly (including IDDSI)
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Medically fit to carry out the role.
It is desirable to have previous experience in a food preparation or kitchen environment. IT would be particularly beneficial to have an understanding of the nutritional needs of the elderly.
