We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team in The Diner at Fiveways.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a restaurant environment and possess a strong understanding of food safety and preparation.

As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to our customers. Your culinary skills and creativity will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during busy periods. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Hours

The Diner is open 9am-7pm, 7 days per week. Please note it is a requirement to work at least one weekend shift per week.
