ASA Aberdeen are currently working on an ongoing contract with one of our public sector clients and have the opportunity for Cooks to join our team to work in local authority schools in Aberdeen. These are temporary roles however the work is of an ongoing nature Monday to Friday during term time.

What is involved?
As a cook you will be responsible for working with the wider kitchen team to deliver varied healthy and nutritious meals to school pupils. Reporting to the cook in charge, you can expect to have mixed responsibilities in cooking as well as maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen areas.

Working with ASA as a cook we can offer you the opportunity to work with a well-known public sector client with potential opportunities for permanent employment. This role is currently paid at \xc2\xa312.27 per hour with additionally accrued holiday pay from your very first shift. Who is the ideal applicant?
This role is perfect for a cook looking for Monday to Friday work leaving your evenings and weekends free. Applicants would ideally have similar cooking experience and be ready to hit the ground running and join the team. You should be a team player prepared take on delegated tasks as well as work to their own initiative when required. You must be reliable as this is an essential role in the smooth running of the kitchen. Applicants must have their own Food Hygiene and Allergens certificates and complete a PVG application or update prior to employment.
