Our client, who are one of the UK\xe2\x80\x99s leading residential developers are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant for their new build housing development in West London. Working within the conveyancing team, the position will be for a minimum of 6 months and if so desired, there is a good chance the position could become permanent. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working in the new build residential sector covering conveyancing duties. Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Plot Progression: Progress reservations to exchange by liaising with buyer\xe2\x80\x99s solicitor and our appointed solicitors. Report into meetings on plot progression Prepare and run reports from our clients in house system C360 (one day training will be given) Anti-Money Laundering preparation for Conveyancing Manager review prior to Financial Director sign off Liaise with the sales teams and external agents to ensure continuous progression of all reservations. Schedule and track advance payments due Carry out World Checks and Sanction checks before any money coming in Attend to legal enquiries. Completion: Report into regular meetings on upcoming completions Instruct our solicitor on serve notice and completion dates Liaise with Conveyancing Manager regarding any completion issues Deal with any rescission\xe2\x80\x99s and liaise with sales to assist in the resale of any units Post completion: Deal with ad hoc queries from customer services/managing agents Deal with further sales e.g. sales of additional parking spaces and storage lockers This will be a start in late December/Early January.
