We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Conveyancer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a keen ability to manage time effectively while handling various property transactions. As a Conveyancer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the legal transfer of property ownership, ensuring all processes are conducted smoothly and efficiently. Your ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues will be essential in maintaining positive relationships throughout the conveyancing process.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion.
Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds.
Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities and other relevant parties.
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders to provide updates and address any queries.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations throughout the conveyancing process.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and client communications using IT systems.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Conveyancer or in a similar role within the property sector is preferred.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient IT skills, including experience with conveyancing software and Microsoft Office applications.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with clients and stakeholders professionally.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to navigate challenges that may arise during transactions.
