We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Grimsby for a Conversion Operative. Our client is global with over 5000 employees. The client provides creative packaging solutions to many big well-known brands.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company as a conversion operative. This role is offered on a Temp 2 Perm basis starting pay at \xc2\xa311.03ph. This role will require you to work on a continental shift, you will be given your shift pattern for the full year upon successfully gaining a position.

The client is rolling out a new working pattern and trialing this with the below shifts
- 6-2
- 2-10
- 10-6 (Nights)

Your Time at Work
The main purpose of the role is to manufacture products to specification and quality standards through efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
Main Job accountabilities are.
- To be able to run a bimec slitting machine under operation
- To clearly follow work instruction documentation, to ensure production efficiencies are met
- To run machinery to achieve correct standard of product
- To complete machine safety start up checks and reports any faults or errors to management
- To deal with stoppage problems quickly and efficiently and seek advice or help where necessary
- To carry out spot quality checks at required intervals
- To work as part of a team
- Other duties as required; you may be asked to take on additional duties which may not be seen as your role.
