The Job Control Systems and Applications Engineering Graduate Trainee

The Role of the Control Systems and Applications Engineering Graduate Trainee

• As the Control Systems and Applications Engineering Graduate Trainee you will be involved in a graduate scheme to bring new blood into the business.
• You will spend 1 year based in their office in the South West and 1 year at their offices in East Anglia.
• When in the South West you will be working more on Factory Automation and when in East Anglia you will be working more on the Mobile Hydraulics & Electronics.
• Will have a chance to find out more about the business, meet different stakeholders and get a good chance to learn about them and their products/markets.
• Working on Factory Automation including Linear Motion, Drives & Controls, Assembly Technology, Mobile Robotics, Conveyor Systems, Robotics, Pick & Place, PLC\'s, HMI\'s as well as Industrial Hydraulics, Mobile Hydraulics and Electronics etc...
• You will be involved in coding using packages like Codesys, Simulink & Control X.
• The role will mainly be office based but you will need to go to client sites to trouble shoot and re-code if needed.

The Ideal Person for the Control Systems and Applications Engineering Graduate Trainee

• MUST have a degree and have completed it no earlier than the beginning of 2022.
• Will consider international candidates who need sponsorship down the line but would need to be a 2023 graduate with 2 year post study work visa.
• Will also consider 2022/2023 graduates with permanent right to work in the UK.
• Ideally a degree in Mechanical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Good eye for detail and able to look at code and identify issues.
• Ideally they will have a driving license and be happy to travel.
• Will consider either straight graduates or those with some experience.
• Hard working, self-motivated, driven & hungry to succeed.
• Will be happy for re-locators but there is no package to help with this.
