Property is at the heart of delivery Network Rail\'s ambitions for the railway: "to provide a safe, reliable and efficient railway fit for the 21st century" with our portfolio covering project support, workspaces, town planning, land strategy, and driving commercial income from retail, business space and developments in conjunction with commercial partners
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate with contract management, project management or stakeholder management experience. We are looking for someone with great organisational skills with the ability to support and develop within the role. Problem solving and workload prioritisation are also a must have.
About the role (External)
What does the average day look like?
You will be the day to day contact for contract partners and stakeholders providing information, support, and resolving issues ensuring consistency across the estate. You will provide vital support to the Regional Account Manager, keeping them informed of progress using a weekly update report. You will carry out general administrative duties such as note taking, raising purchase orders and ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained, stored and accessible.
You will ensure contracts\' compliance with Health and Safety and operational procedures and processes.
In this role you will liaise with key stakeholders and contract partners on the implementation of new initiatives. You will conduct station by station site surveys to develop a programme of installation. You will provide support to the installation team ensuring that all stakeholders are always informed of the progress.
What essential skills and experiences are required?
\xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
\xc2\xb7 Excellent problem solving skills
\xc2\xb7 Experience managing internal and external stakeholders
\xc2\xb7 Experience working with commercial contracts or supporting contract management
\xc2\xb7 Outstanding organisational abilities
\xc2\xb7 Ability to liaise at all levels of the organisation
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge/experience of PC packages
We would also like, but not essential.
