Contracts & Pricing Manager

Location: Leicester with c20% international travel

Salary: \xc2\xa370,000 + 15% Company Bonus, Family BUPA & standard UK company benefits.

Due to an internal promotion, this global packaging manufacturer seek to recruit an experienced commercial professional with exceptional contracts and pricing experience. You will be the key point of contact for all for contract negotiations with blue chip suppliers.

This role has integral working relationships with global Finance and Management teams, Sales, Operations, Purchasing, HR, NPD, Customer Service as well as externally with the company\xe2\x80\x99s suppliers.

Core responsibilities.

• Sales and margin analysis on plant, customer, and product basis.
• Manage Pricebook process for all global locations (UK, USA, Europe, Brazil, China) to ensure information is accurate, timely and follows margin guidance.
• Review and recommend margin improvement initiatives at customer, product, and plant level such that margin levels across the business achieve or exceed budget commitments.
• Prepare / Review quotations for all significant new and existing business.
• Oversee bid and tenders for new and existing contracts and sales agreements.
• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
• Ensure individual site quoting process is consistent with agreed process and KPIs.
• Manage the commercial contract review and internal approval process in a timely and accurate basis.
• Financial analysis of historic and future performance to enable appropriate commercial and strategic decision making.

Experience & skills required.

• Commercial contract and pricing management experience
• High attention to detail, methodical in approach
• Excellent communication skills, you must be able to demonstrate your ability to articulate contractual and pricing information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Industry experience form manufacturing, ideally packaging but this is not essential.
• Ideally qualified to degree level in a business, commercial or finance subject.
