We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpentry Contract Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational and leadership abilities, with a strong focus on project management and negotiation skills. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing contract development, ensuring compliance, and driving successful project outcomes. This role requires effective communication and time management skills to manage multiple contracts simultaneously while fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Overseeing teams of carpenters and joiners
?Client-facing interactions
?Providing detailed reports and quotations
Develop, negotiate, and finalise contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting to execution and renewal.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
Maintain comprehensive records of all contracts and related documents.
Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding contractual matters.
Conduct risk assessments related to contracts and propose mitigation strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the contract management process.
Qualifications
Essential NVQ Construction site supervision
Desirable: BM TRADA supervision certification
?Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and reporting software
Ability to write client reports detailing the works completed
Ability to record installations to a high standard
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favourable outcomes.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to contract management processes.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of managing teams and driving projects forward.
A detail-oriented approach with excellent time management skills to meet deadlines consistently.
