Are you an experienced Contracts Manager within the Industrial Roofing Sector ?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing contracts, ensuring compliance, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. This position requires a blend of project management expertise, leadership skills, and a keen understanding of IT processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at negotiating terms and conditions while maintaining organisational efficiency.

As a specialist roofing and cladding contractor that provide a complete roofing service for commercial, factory, warehouse and industrial properties as well as having substantial experience in the areas of new build, refurbishment and maintenance and repairs.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects, ensuring that they are run efficiently, profitably, and that all contract conditions are complied with. You must ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in a safe working manner.

Key Duties:

Recruiting, overseeing and managing subcontractors

Site surveys and measurement

Preparation of Risk and Method statements

Enforcing and monitoring Health & Safety practices and CDM regulations on site

Production of programmes of work

The running of projects at various sites at any one time

Experience of Microsoft office, Excel, Word, Outlook etc

Attend contract handovers from estimating

Communicate accurate and timely information to the team

Give accurate project labour costs, materials, and production times

Develop the Contracts department in line with the company growth strategy

Liaising with subcontractors re orders for materials, components, plant and specialist services

To ensure that all specific materials ordered are received on or before their due delivery dates.

Reduce project costs

Full understanding of each project Specification

Monitor quality on each site

Attendance of regular site meetings with Client, Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Planning Supervisor etc.

Research new best value suppliers/sub-contractors

Site qualifications to include CSCS and SMSTS

Strong background in refurbishment, metal cladding, composite, single-ply, asbestos awareness
