Ian Farmer Associates is a geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation company with offices covering the majority of the United Kingdom. As part of our work we need to ensure that plant and equipment is delivered to the right locations at the right time, and that suppliers and hire contracts are managed successfully to maximise productivity and minimise costs. To this end we are looking to recruit a Contracts Co-ordinator to help to manage this process.
Responsibilities:
Organising and assisting in project set up
Procurement of subcontractors and consumables
Purchase Order management and Invoicing
Communication with clients and suppliers
Support to Site Agents and Project Managers
Assist in preparation of Site Safety Plans
General office duties
Qualifications and Experience:
At least GCSE Maths and English to Grade A to C or equivalent
Good organisational skills
Good communication skills
Previous experience in construction, logistics or civils industry preferred.
Clean driving licence
