We have an opening for a full-time Administrator at our depot in
Sheerness, Kent. The role will be to support theOperations Manager, Operations Supervisor and operational teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients. This is a key role as it directly influences our ability to deliver on our promises and ensure a smooth-running contracting operation.
You will be part of a
small team
focused on running the contracting operation. At the office you will be part of a team of people all dedicated to giving great customer
satisfaction.
The specific tasks for this role are:
Ordering materials and deliveries to our UK depots
Direct liaison with customers regarding programming works
Following the Health & Safety, QA, & Environmental accreditations in place
Arranging plant hire, materials, and traffic management
Booking accommodation for the crews
Maintaining stock levels at depots
Plant and equipment hire
Managing vehicle and plant maintenance schedules and bookings
Making up contract files and supplying information to the client
Experience
The successful candidate may well have a mixture of both vocational experience and academic certification. So it could be that someone with Business or Construction
qualifications would be interested but equally, experience in the sector would
make qualifications less of a requirement.
Ideally, we would like to employ someone with knowledge of highways or
construction with experience of working alongside stringent health and safety
regulations. The ability to follow procedure is imperative but also the desire
to deliver great service, do a good job, be helpful and contribute to a team
result. Previous training in IOSH Working or Managing Safely would be advantageous but not essential.
We are of course heavily invested in IT so knowing your way around
Microsoft products and systems is a must.
You will need to be numerate, literate, accurate and possess excellent
telephone and communication skills.
A grasp of the implications of decisions you make on the safety and well-being of our teams working in live traffic environments is fundamental to the role.
Full training and support will be given.
