Our client is looking for a dedicated Contract Support professional to join their team and provide operational support across various sites in Fulbourn, Cambridge.

\xf0\x9f\x9a\x80 Role Purpose:

As a Contract Support, your role is crucial in offering operational assistance to our managerial staff on-site while providing administrative support to the contract. Your responsibilities include maintaining precise records and client information, liaising with engineers, the office team, and clients, and handling various ad-hoc duties as they arise.

\xf0\x9f\x93\x8b Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Helpdesk tasks to keep key stakeholders informed of any outstanding issues, including overdue PPMs, completed PPM issues, and reactive work.
  • Consistently liaise with those facing ongoing problems, resolving issues in a timely manner and explaining any delays.
  • Ensure the Service Insight system is up to date with detailed, documented, and regularly tracked information.
  • Assist in maintaining the Helpdesk system and phones during breaks, handled by team members.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to provide purchase orders and ETA details for parts and subcontractor attendance.
  • Keep the site team informed about contract problems, defects, and deficiencies.
  • Ensure all jobs are appropriately "closed off" once completed satisfactorily.
  • Review daily/weekly progress reports, providing reasons for completed and outstanding tasks.
  • Update operational boards within the office twice daily to allow the managerial team to monitor the reactive workload.
  • Track chargeable works and staff hours worked for chargeable jobs.
  • Monitor and manage supplier invoices.
  • Support the Contract Support role during holidays or sickness.
  • Assist in creating full auditable trails for all jobs (reactive and PPM).
\xf0\x9f\x92\xbc Person Specification/Requirements:
  • Proven experience with scheduling.
  • Experience with Procurement Systems is a plus.
  • Previous experience within a healthcare environment is advantageous.
  • Reliability, responsiveness, and accessibility to work cooperatively and supportively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of seniority.
  • Diligent, pro-active, and able to prioritize and act on your initiative.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A flexible approach to work with a willingness to travel when required.
  • Educated to GCSE level A-C or equivalent.
