This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless management, oversight, and compliance of contracts while fostering strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, mitigate risks, and support procurement functions by managing supplier vetting, registration and onboarding, contract governance, due diligence, and training.


Contract Governance:


Manage, monitor, and ensure compliance with contract terms. Optimize contract performance to meet organizational goals. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts Track key contract milestones, such as expiration and renewal dates, and ensure timely actions are taken. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve contract disputes or discrepancies. Implement contract performance monitoring tools to assess supplier delivery against agreed-upon terms. Regularly review and update contract templates to reflect regulatory and organizational changes.

Supplier Onboarding:

The first point of conduct for all supplier onboarding Process sourcing administration and adverse communications checks. Monitor sanctions list's and ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and procedures. Manage systems and data, oversee sourcing training Conduct thorough financial assessments to evaluate suppliers' viability and stability. Manage communications checks and review suppliers against sanction lists. Ensure supplier adherence to company policies, processes, and procedures during onboarding. Collect and verify supplier documentation, such as tax forms, certifications, and insurance policies. Set up suppliers in procurement systems and verify data accuracy. Develop and deliver training programs on sourcing policies and procedures for suppliers.
Due Diligence:

Perform risk assessments. Verify supplier credentials and compliance with regulations
System Integration and Data Management:


Organize and securely store data in databases, data warehouses, or cloud systems. Maintain the correct nomenclature for the hierarchy of codes per the UNSPC Classifications, and align these codes to the NIACS and ISIC codes Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier profiles, including performance metrics and compliance records. Oversee the integration of supplier information into procurement and accounting systems. + Maintain data accuracy by regularly updating supplier profiles and removing outdated information. Work with the wider PAC team to develop functional metrics that enable directorate level performance (dashboard) Contract KPI's of the top 20% of supplier agreements Support internal audits by providing accurate and easily accessible data
Training and Communication:


Provide guidance to suppliers on company policies, expectations, and processes. Be the point of contact for suppliers during onboarding and integration. Provide training to suppliers on company policies, procurement systems, and compliance expectations - particularly during the onboarding process Communicate updates on regulatory changes, organizational policies, or contract terms to suppliers and to the wider AGL business Create and distribute compliance guides or materials to suppliers. Create and distribute a supply chain (PAC) handbook Creates and is responsible for onboarding all new PAC employees to our directorate Is responsible for ensuring coordination with IT for any software training requirements
Compliance Monitoring:


Ensure suppliers comply with regulatory and company standards. Confirm relevant insurance is in place for suppliers. Undertake D&B financial health checks Undertake sanctions lists (MK Denials) Undertake adverse comms investigations
