The post holder will work as part of the Complex Care Finance Team, with a focus on providing a comprehensive financial management service to the ICB and overseeing the functions carried out by the management accounting section of the Finance Team. The post holder will play a central role in preparation of timely and accurate financial reports and year end forecasts. The post holder will be the first point of contact for colleagues requiring financial information, detailed analysis and responses to complex queries and will be required to provide timely and accurate information and advice as well as providing robust challenge where appropriate. The post holder will report to the Head of Finance and will support the integrated finance function covering management accounting, financial reporting and where necessary providing support to financial accounting processes.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for line management of the CHC Finance team, playing a central role in development these staff with support from the Head of Finance. The post holder will be a creative and innovative individual who will provide specialist knowledge and have the ability to work autonomously within clearly defined professional policies.
