More information about the Cabinet Office can be found on its website at https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/cabinet-office As a Content Designer your main responsibilities will be: \xc2\xb7 Leading the creation and improvement of user-centred and high quality content, across the Transforming Government Services portfolio. \xc2\xb7 Designing, developing and managing content that helps people understand how to make services great and meet the required standards. \xc2\xb7 Using analytics data, user feedback and user research to identify the needs of users, map user journeys and inform content strategy. \xc2\xb7 Using data and research to develop inclusive and accessible content. \xc2\xb7 Contributing to the cross-government user-centred design community. \xc2\xb7 Helping colleagues and stakeholders from other disciplines understand what content design is, why it\xe2\x80\x99s important and how to work with content designers. You\xe2\x80\x99ll have relevant experience in: \xc2\xb7 Data project experience. \xc2\xb7 Agile experience. \xc2\xb7 Experience of delivering government services. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate creating, improving, publishing and managing high-quality, user-centred content. \xc2\xb7 Be able to make complex language and processes easy to understand without losing its technical accuracy; \xc2\xb7 Use analytics, user feedback and user research to evaluate and improve content. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate building productive relationships with stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to understand their goals and working with them to improve content quality. \xc2\xb7 Consistently review and improve processes and be familiar with content publishing systems. \xc2\xb7 Have broad and specialist content design experience in digital / IT environments and large complex organisations. \xc2\xb7 Be able to think critically, use analysis and challenge assumptions or change the status quo. \xc2\xb7 Communicate clearly and persuasively and build relationships with stakeholders, including with those at senior levels.
