Consulting Partner & Account Lead \xe2\x80\x93 Defence & Government
Location: Flexible to a UK Thales SIX Site (Reading, Ebbw Vale, Bristol, Crawley, Doncaster, Cheadle), travel required in role to these various sites as well as customers

The Role:
Thales UK Secure Communications and Information Systems (SIX) have a fantastic, unmissable opportunity for a Consulting Partner & Account Lead to join the leadership team in a key go to market role in the Defence and Government technology sectors. This account management and consultative role is focussed on the highly innovative and dynamic cyber security and digital trust area of the business and will pull upon all the skills, experience and learning agility associated with business development, account management, bid and programme management.
Your role will be to help identify and develop relationships with targeted clients through initial go to market and business winning activities, and then deliver growth to maximise the potential from the account. You will engage and build lasting relationships with clients and be able to quickly elicit requirements that will inform potential Thales propositions that will meet the clients required outcomes. You will be the voice of the customer and work very closely with product owners, delivery portfolio leads and other account leads to develop and implement the overall business winning strategy and capability in this market.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Undertake the activities that will ensure the successful capture, growth and delivery of key accounts.
Setting the standard of excellence for consulting and project outputs for all bid/delivery teams, in accordance with the needs of the customer
Responsibility for the delivery of consulting outputs to the required standard of excellence.
Leading and supporting account and stakeholder engagements and elicit client required outcomes.
Deliver value to client by providing insights into potential benefits of introducing Thales products, services and capabilities to their wider enterprise.
Support Cyber Security & Digital Trust implementations by ensuring that the clients required outcomes are understood and ultimately delivered.
Promote and evangelise about the enterprise benefits of adopting Digital Trust products and services in related markets.
About you:
We are looking for a forward thinking and customer focused individual with demonstrable technical managerial leadership and experience in an account management, business development or bid and programme environment. You will possess excellent people skills, able to influence, challenge and engage with others effectively. Experience and a broad knowledge of Consulting, UK Ministry of Defence and Government entities is key. You will be able to quickly assimilate and utilise information, deal with ambiguity as well as learn and adapt to fast changing market conditions.
