Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Duties

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor their effects on patients. Provide psychotherapy and counselling to patients, focusing on their emotional and psychological well-being. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Stay informed about the latest developments in psychiatry and mental health treatments.

Skills

Proven experience in providing patient care, particularly with children. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop effective treatment strategies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and colleagues. Empathy and compassion towards patients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases effectively.
