An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Consultant Ophthalmologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust with expertise in Medical Retina / Diabetic Retinopathy. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team of 24 Ophthalmic Consultants at Queen\'s Medical Centre working together to make a difference to Ophthalmology services within Nottingham and beyond.
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC and be on the GMC Specialist Register for surgical Ophthalmology or within 6 months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT at the time of interview.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly qualified and experienced ophthalmologists providing a comprehensive range of ophthalmic clinical services.
The Ophthalmology unit offers a comprehensive range of routine and specialist ophthalmic services and the post-holder will be expected to play an active role in the development and provision of the Medical Retina / Diabetic Retinopathy sub-specialty services for patients at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Please note the DCC (clinical and admin) and SPA activity for this position generates a job plan in total of 11.3 PAs. The allocation and number of PAs will be discussed with candidates at interview
