We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team on-site.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites, including removing debris and hazardous materials. Carry out general labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials as directed by supervisors. Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely under supervision. Follow instructions from site managers and skilled tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety on-site. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in construction or a similar labour-intensive role is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is preferred. A valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is an advantage but can be obtained upon hiring. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team setting. Strong physical fitness to handle demanding tasks throughout the day.
