About Hinkley Point C

The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy.



Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. The electricity generated by its two EPR reactors will offset 9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year.

What you'll be doing

Deliver Construction Work packs to support the MEH Alliance programme Enable the use of the MPower/Procon system to support the construction works and progress reporting of the MEH Alliance. Enable the requesting and compliance of the MEH Alliance for the Work Authorisation and Permit systems. Enable the co-ordination of safe access routing to workfaces to support the MEH

Alliance construction works.
Enable the topographical and other surveying required to support the MEH Alliance construction works. Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site license requirements. Review and feedback on suitability of level of resource to effectively run the support function.

Who we're looking for

Degree in relevant discipline or HNC in relevant discipline or Relevant Experience Ability to gain a security clearance
