Role Summary

This position reports directly to our professional and talented Compressor division of the business. Our Compressor division delivers compressor servicing and compressed air services installations to our commercial and industrial clients within the South West region.

Hours of works:

40 Hours per week.

Days of works:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30.

Rate of pay:

Negotiable.

Start date:

Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, install and commission compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment. Equipment and system fault diagnosis. Equipment and system planned maintenance. Organise planned maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and client requirements. Attend customer sites to undertake breakdown repair works. Provide technical and equipment advice to the customer. Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning on site. Effectively work alongside Technicians from other disciplines to deliver turnkey projects. Always maintain effective communication with all stakeholders. Ensure the efficient ordering of materials and spare parts. Ensure all work complies with current standards. Conduct reviews and suggest improvements where necessary. Undertake all works in accordance with company H&S policies and procedures. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with our customers. Provide a highly professional, technically capable and flexible attitude towards our customers. Actively promote the Company and the services offered.

Skills and Experience Needed - Essential

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Experienced with Atlas Copco, and all other compressor manufacturer's equipment. Willingness to participate in training and technical development. Positive, flexible, and pro-active attitude to work with a desire to influence others to adopt a similar attitude. Must be able to remain calm under pressure whilst working conducting fault diagnosis and breakdown repair works. Ability to adhere to stringent Health and Safety rules and promote a safe working environment. Ability to read schematics and other drawings. Experience in a customer facing role, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent working knowledge of IT systems, including Office 365. Full UK driving licence.

Skills and Experience Needed - Desirable

Familiarity with completing permits to work and will be able to complete accurate and concise paperwork. 18th Edition Qualified. Refrigerant skills/knowledge.
