Vacancy:

A great opportunity for an the right person to join our busy production team, working on the company's varied & quality product ranges.

Job Role:

Cutting & kitting materials/components for production, dressing steel to prepare for galvanising or production & meeting the quality requirement of the company's product.

With training provided to attain the full role

Position:

Full Time -

38 hours per week (Monday to Friday 07.30am to 16.00pm)

Qualifications and Skills

Kit components from simple component drawings into production bays. Use air & electric grinding tools to prepare steelwork for galvanising The ideal candidate will have mechanical experience to operate machines & hand tools for cutting, grinding & drilling. Experience in finishing metal products Experience of working in a busy production environment Ability to work under own initiative Must be reliable and punctual Ability to understand simple component drawings Experience of driving a forklift / side loader an advantage Experience of powder coating an advantage

Training will be provided to ensure that the company quality requirements are met

Salary/Benefits

:

12.79p/h rising to 13.99 subject to completing a successful training programme.

After completion of a 3 month probationary period

Annual leave - First year, 20 days + bank holidays, thereafter 25 days + bank holidays
