We have an exciting opportunity to join the Group Compliance team in a new role as AICL Compliance Manager, this will involve activities for our UK based insurer, AICL (Admiral Insurance Company Limited). This role will hold the Line 1 compliance responsibilities for AICL, ensuring regulatory compliance and oversight of EUI limited for its outsourced activities.


A key responsibility of this role is to ensure effective, robust, and proportionate compliance-based activities are in place for AICL. This will require passion, a willingness to work collaboratively across teams and for someone who can work independently to identify and present solutions to senior management.

Main Duties


Schedule, attend and document AICL Compliance/Outsourcer meetings. Complete AICL regulatory returns to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Ensure all SM&CR activities are undertaken on time and meet regulatory and board requirements. Prepare communications in a clear, consistent, and accurate manner Identify any regulatory changes and to arrange for summaries to be produced for AICL board. Ensure Product Governance oversight arrangements are appropriate. Collaborate with AIGL, EUI, Co-insurers (Great Lakes), and Group Teams. Assisting with compliance-based projects.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience


Proven experience in a UK Insurance company Detailed knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and good knowledge of the regulatory landscape Confidence in engaging with, presenting to and challenging senior stakeholders Ability to manage complex tasks/projects and comfortable working independently Work well within a team and supporting others Highly organised and proactive Report writing and project management abilities Project management ICA or CII qualification would be preferable but isnt essential
