Job IntroductionThis is an exciting opportunity to provide your highly skilled and adaptable expertise to the Council's Education and Learning project team on a 1 year fixed term contract and make a major contribution towards driving the Council's Holiday Activity and Food Programme and the Household Support Fund Programme. We need your talent to help us achieve our goals.We are looking for a Compliance and Quality Assurance Officer to join our dedicated team in the Education and Learning Service. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Building great relationships and winning confidence of officers and managers, contractors, providers and other important stakeholders is essential to this role, so you will need excellent written and verbal communications skills. You will need to produce clear reports.
  • You will work with over 300 contractors and providers across the District to conduct compliance and quality assurance visits, ensuring contractors and providers are working in accordance with DFE/DWP/Council rules and regulations.
  • You will work as part of a team and work with the project manager and support staff in supporting monitoring visits to multiple providers during the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays.
  • You will be expected to have knowledge and experience in applying a range of business analysis and improvement techniques, you will also need to have good Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to analyse data.
  • You will need to have the skills and knowledge to be able to support those contractors and providers that fall short and require development support.
  • A proven track record in delivering results under pressure is essential, you will be confident in taking a dynamic and collaborative approach to help Bradford Council achieve its organisational priorities.
