The Compliance and Impact Manager will be responsible for monitoring and evaluation reports across ALL projects and services at Disability Direct. They will be auditing projects and evidencing our impact on Disabled People, their Families and Carers. Having some operational delivery experience will be key as they will be working closely with project leads, the Head of Operations and the CEO. Highly skilled at presenting data in an exciting and accessible way is crucial. So creative experience with report writing and using modern ways to showcase the work of the charity are key skills. Taking the lead on company compliance and regulatory governance. They will be supporting the charity to build a common culture in what we do, how we do it and even more importantly WHY. What the day to day could look like
The role is key in ensuring our work is compliant, impactful, continuously improving and is aligned with our mission. You will work closely with the Head of Operations supporting both the day-to-day running of services and the development of new initiatives.
Support the delivery of current projects/services to ensure objectives, timelines, and requirements are met.
Supports the service/project managers with effective service planning, problem-solving, and risk management.
Assist with the design and implementation of new services, including planning, resource coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Ensure all services are delivered in line with regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.
Maintain and develop internal systems to track compliance, safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection.
Prepare and support internal audits, inspections, and evaluations.
Collect, analyse, and report on performance data to measure impact and inform service improvements.
Work with the teams to embed a culture of reflective practice and continuous learning.
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all service areas.
Provide guidance to frontline staff and act as a first point of contact for operational queries.
Support training, recruitment, and supervision of staff as required.
Address any HR issues in collaboration with the HR group Lead when required
Deputise for the Operations Manager in day-to-day matters and team meetings when needed.
Assist with fundraising applications, report writing, and stakeholder engagement.
Provide administrative and coordination support on strategic initiatives.
Experience in health and social care or working with disabled people.
Conduct or oversee risk assessments and incident reporting.
Keeping meeting minutes and following up on action points.
Assisting with updating and distributing service-specific policies and procedures.
